In the course of his career, Jordan averaged just over 30 points. On numerous occasions, he has credited his teammates for his success. Yet, their efforts often go unnoticed. What appears to the naked eye is not always the truth. The Last Dance documentary brought out the cracks in the relationships of Chicago’s finest. Following its release on Netflix, many former Bulls, including Pippen, lashed out at ‘His Airness’. The 7-time All-star believed it was selfish of Jordan to glorify his own image over that of the team’s. Pippen went on to clarify that although they have immense respect for each other, their friendship has never flourished.
Meanwhile, Rodman hasn’t openly criticized Jordan to that extent. Though Jordan initially despised Rodman and the Pistons, they share an amicable equation at the moment. Yet, Dennis has indirectly stated that ‘The Last Dance’ could’ve done with some changes. In fact, he even backed Pippen after watching the 10-part series, saying that he deserved to have his head held high. Despite everything that unfolded, Rodman has always looked up to his 58-year-old former teammate. In a recent interview, he addressed their status, claiming, “We stay in touch.” Thus, he shares a relatively closer bond with Jordan than Pippen does.
