A former Chicago Bulls forward recently revealed that he was diagnosed with a disorder that more than 2% of American adults suffer from. He found out about it after his son was diagnosed with the same disorder, which gave him the courage to get himself checked out as well. Nonetheless, the NBA veteran’s revelation has already inspired thousands of fans as they gave words of encouragement to the 31-year-old and his son.

Revealing his condition, the 6’7 forward made it wholesome by sharing how he would like to support his 2-year-old son in these tough times. In addition, the NBA buffs have shown nothing but immense love and support to him, which made it even more heart-warming.??

Even with a miserable disorder like autism, former Bulls forward Tony Snell continued to play in the league for almost 10 seasons. Although Snell has been facing this hindrance for a number of years, he found out he was diagnosed with autism last year.?

After his son was diagnosed with autism when he was 18 months old, Snell decided to get himself checked out as well, which revealed he had it too. However, Snell had a feeling he had the disorder even before he was diagnosed with it. Nonetheless, the 31-year-old was not bothered by it and wanted to support his son no matter what!

Snell shared that he wasn’t surprised by this diagnosis, as he always felt different. In an interview with NBC’s ‘Today’, he revealed, “I want to make sure my son knows that I have his back”. He also added,?“We’re going to grow together and accomplish a lot of things together.”
