“Innocent” Michael Jordan Clip From Christmas 1986 Shocks Fans: “Very Hard for Me to Go to Sleep on Christmas Eve. I Was Looking Forward to Getting Up and Opening My Presents”

It also includes a look at the fandom in the 90s. On Twitter and Instagram, people are reacting to the #nbaxmas and posting. One video on Twitter was about Michael Jordan talking about Christmas back in 1986.

He talked about his experience and the reunion with his family during this time.

In Jordan’s recap video, NBA shared an interview in which he talked about his childhood Christmas celebrations with his family, describing how it was impossible for him to sleep knowing about the presents and not being able to open them until Christmas night.

He states how he misses the excitement of the holiday season for the past few years because he has been unable to spend time with his family. In his words:

“I think it was very hard for me to go to sleep on Christmas Eve, but you know, I was looking forward to getting up and opening my presents and hopefully having a bicycle or whatever Santa Claus was supposed to bring me. All those Christmas days really was very special to me because I spent it with my family. I haven’t been able to do that in the last 4 or 5 years. but I have enjoyed myself and I stay in contact with them”.

Michael Jordan is often considered among the greatest players to grace the court. It was in the 90s that Jordan would reach the epitome of his career. He won countless championships and accolades.
