Infamous for Locking Up Michael Jordan, NBA Legend Gets Provoked by Shaquille O?Neal?s Supermodel Son

Myles O’Neal is not Shaquille O’Neal’s biological son. The Lakers legend, nevertheless, has been an equally dedicated father to him as he has been to his other children. Shaq was all praises for Myles in his autobiography “Shaq Uncut: My Story”. The 25-year-old ?is a television personality and has also represented many luxury brands like Givenchy, Dolce & Gabbana, and Dior. On this occasion, however, as if channeling his inner Shaq, Myles took a dig at a legend of the league.

The oldest son of Shaq seems to be referencing an incident involving an infamous rival of the Chicago Bulls legend, Michael Jordan. The 1996 NBA season was a familiar success for the Bulls. The Chicago side still lost two games in the Finals series, owing to Gary Payton’s defense against His Airness. The 2006 NBA champion was part of the Seattle Supersonics (Oklahoma City Thunder), who faced the Bulls in the 1996 NBA Finals.

Payton had controversially snubbed Jordan when asked about his top 3 of all-time. The 9x All-Star had stated, ?My top 3? I?mma go with Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, and Bill Russell.? While he could not stop the Bulls from eventually winning the championship title in 1996, Payton certainly made his mark as “The Glove”. His?claims of locking up Jordan may be true, considering the drop in MJ’s points average in the two losses.

The 2006 NBA champion was egged on by Shaquille O’Neal’s son Myles in the supermodel’s Instagram story. The entertainer captioned his story “yall think he can guard me?” and tagged Gary Payton. It seems like father, like son. Just like Shaq, Myles too seems to be comfortable stirring the pot.
