DDG recently appeared on the latest iteration of VLAD TV. The 25-year-old talked about his high-profile collaborations with stars like Lil Yachty, NBA YoungBoy, and 42 Dogg. The star rapper also discussed his investments in cryptocurrency and NFTs. Further, DDG also explained his divisive basketball take on Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan, stirring a debate among the fans yet again.

DDG favors Stephen Curry over Michael Jordan

The millionaire rapper shared why he considered Curry to be a better baller than Jordan. DDG stated that he was born in 1997, during the last few years of Michael Jordan‘s career. Hence, he grew up watching Stephen Curry spreading his magic on the court. Moreover, DDG reckoned that he watched Michael Jordan’s highlights and felt that the Golden State Warriors guard was more exciting than Jordan.

Thus, he felt that it was not fair for him to compare them too much. DDG added, “So it’s like, off my knowledge Curry is better than Michael Jordan.” The Central Michigan University graduate suggested that it was a hot take but he would stand by it being a Warriors fan.

Curry and Jordan have played in two completely different times. The league has evolved a great deal since Jordan’s retirement. Thus, it is quite impractical to compare the two legends, who have ruled the game in their eras. Both the NBA stars helped their teams win their first championship in the league. Jordan won six championship rings for the Chicago Bulls while Curry has bagged four with the Golden State Warriors.
