“I have several memorable encounters. Perhaps the best one is the first one. I was a student at UCLA and walking down the street in Westwood when I saw Ali on the sidewalk. He was walking with friends, but every now and then he would stop a passerby and perform a magic trick,” he said.
The 19-time All-Star further appreciated the playful nature of the boxing legend and his loving nature towards everybody in general. The Lakers legend also appreciated the integrity and work ethic of the late legend.
