The heart-wrenching end to the FIFA World Cup left the French team soul-shattered as they lost a chance of holding the FIFA world cup once again after coming so close to victory. Soccer legend Lionel Messi led Argentina to their first world cup win since 1986. However, the most impressive performance came from Messi’s PSG teammate, Kylian Mbappe, who scored three crucial goals for France in the game. After coming extremely close to his second world cup win, Mbappe was left dejected by the final outcome of the game. As a result, French President Emmanuel Macron proceeded to console a heartbroken Mbappe after the game. Recently, the emotional moment between Macron and the PSG star has drawn the attention of NBA fans, after triggering comparisons between Mbappe and LeBron James.

The French national team made a great comeback with a penalty shot from Kylian Mbappe in the 80th minute, after being down 2-0 for the most part. He scored another goal in a matter of minutes to level the score 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes. The game went into overtime as Messi and Mbappe both scored a goal during extra time, resulting in a 3-3 scoreline.
Unfortunately for France, they missed a couple of chances during the penalties, resulting in Argentina taking the World Cup. Mbappe did everything he could to take the cup home and was left dejected by the disappointing outcome. His heartwarming moment with the French President, however, prompted the indulgence of NBA fans after a strange comparison on Twitter.

LeBron doesn’t play an international game and he is not an international star! Most probably his club manager will do something like this. Only American knows him, #Mbappe known to most of the civilizations. So keep your this feeling within yourself.
