“I’m Trying to Find Out the Psychology About It”: Khloe Kardashian’s Ex-Husband Gives His Two Cents on the Reality TV Star Having a Second Child With NBA Champion Tristan Thompson

Former NBA champion Lamar Odom recently sat down with NFL legend Shannon Sharpe and discussed some interesting things for the ‘Club Shay Shay’ podcast. During the show, Sharpe asked Odom about his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian’s relationship with NBA champion Tristan Thompson. Odom and Khloe married in 2009 after one month of dating and they were divorced in 2015. In 2016, Thompson and Khloe started dating each other. The couple welcomed their first child in 2018.

However, it was found that Thompson had reportedly been cheating on Khloe and so the couple split in 2019. Ever since that their relationship has been on and off. In 2020, they resumed their relationship, and then in 2021, they split again. A few months back, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson welcomed a son via surrogacy. However, not many could comprehend why Khloe would have another child with Thompson even though he cheated on her multiple times.

The NFL Hall of Famer then asked Lamar Odom about it during the podcast. Sharpe stated he is assuming Khloe may have wanted both her children to have the same father and that is what made her have another child with Thompson via surrogacy. But Odom could not understand the reason behind her decision.

Lamar Odom added he could not understand why Khloe would want another child with a man who doesn’t want to be with her. “I’m trying to find the psychology about it. Like, okay you wanna have the same baby with the same father. But he don’t wanna be with you,”?Odom said.

Shannon Sharpe suggested Kim Kardashian has all her children from Kanye West, Kylie Kardashian has all her children with Travis Scott, so Khloe could have wanted to keep that going. But the two-time NBA champion was not having it.

“If that man’s saying, ‘I’m here, I wanna raise my children with you.’ Then have his surrogate, yeah, I get it. But if he ain’t checking in on you, that don’t make sense to me,”?Odom added.

The former Los Angeles Lakers star also added that he is telling this as a friend.

In 2013, Odom was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to three years probation, and was reportedly required to complete an alcohol abuse treatment program. Khloe filed for a divorce in 2013. In 2015, Odom was found unconscious in Nevada. He was placed on life support while in a coma after suffering multiple heart attacks, strokes, and kidney failure. So Khloe withdrew her divorce filing to make medical decisions for Odom at the time. After his miraculous recovery, she again filed for a divorce in 2016.
