Rihanna’s fans are finally hearing her voice in a new music video after waiting for many years. A new version of her single ‘Lift Me Up’ is on the soundtrack of the upcoming Marvel movie ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. The delay in the release of the album has some fans excited and some frustrated. One of the people on that frustration list is Brooklyn Nets star, Kevin Durant.
His thoughts on Rihanna’s song being released after six years were recently discussed in an interview. The album will also feature songs Rihanna wrote with other artists, including Teams, Ludwing Göransson, and Ryan Coogler.

In honor of Chadwick Boseman, the song is a tribute. Since her last album came in 2016, this is the first time she has released a song since then. During this time, Drake-produced tracks such as ‘Work’, ‘Needed Me’, and ‘Love On The Brain’ were highly successful.
The singer was also exploring her interest in fashion and beauty before the release of this album in October. In addition, her fashion choices and beauty statements have garnered a great deal of attention.

“I think this way suits me better, a lot better. It’s authentic, it’ll be fun for me, and it takes a lot of the pressure off.” Despite how many are appreciating this news, Durant urged the iconic artist, along with an Oscar-Nominated singer, to end their infamous droughts.

As a result of his frustration with Rihanna and the artist SZA, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2019, Kevin Durant expressed his thoughts in a recent interview. According to him, he is tired of their music being delayed. “I’m sick of Rihanna’s s**t too.” Furthermore, he stated, “I’m just scaring her straight like, drop the s**t.”
