Few players, if any, have been able to replicate MJ’s career accomplishments. Imagine questioning Jordan’s basketball skills on a live TV show! However, popular comedian and late night TV host, Jay Leno, did exactly that. And MJ responded in style.

Michael Jordan gives a fitting reply to Jay Leno for questioning his dunking skills

NBA legend Michael Jordan once attended Jay Leno’s show through live video in 2010. Leno was asking Jordan a few questions during the show. However, in one of the questions, Leno asked Jordan if he could still dunk a basketball.

“Can you still dunk and when was the last time you tried?” Jay Leno asked Jordan.

That certainly didn’t go down well with the 6-time NBA champion. To this Jordan replied: “Can I still dunk? Are you stupid? I’m old, but I’m not lame. I can still jump, I can still palm a basketball. Yeah, I can still dunk.”

Leno then said that MJ was ‘getting testy’. Jordan responded with, “Yeah, I am testy. That’s a dumb question.”

There’s no doubt that MJ took Leno’s question ‘personally.’ However, the two celebrities seemed cool after the exchange. They laughed it off. In the meantime, Michael Jordan made the audience laugh with his clever comebacks.
