O’Neal recently triggered NBA fans with a take on Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. While letting it out, Shaq also channelized his famous instinct for taking jibes. However, it was an Emmy Award winner who was on the receiving end of the 4x-NBA champion’s riposte.

O’Neal’s take was about Stephen Curry’s stature as a point guard. It left numerous fans in shambles, especially rooters of the Lakers. Shaq’s co-host Nischelle Turner also found it hard to agree with him. True to form, the Diesel went on to poke fun at her.

Stephen Curry’s solo display against the Sacramento Kings in Game 7 left the NBA world flabbergasted. The Baby-Faced Assassin ran riot to clock 50 points and eliminated the Kings in the first round. Shaquille O’Neal and crew took up this unreal display for discussion on the latest episode of The Big Podcast.?

Steph’s solo show prompted Shaq to laud the former as ‘the best point guard ever’. Nischelle Turner was surprised to hear this. She asked Shaq if he places Curry above Magic Johnson as a point guard. Surprisingly, O’Neal told Turner that he regards Steph above Magic.

The Big Aristotle then revealed a discussion he had with Jamal Crawford regarding Stephen Curry. As O’Neal put it, Crawford had contested his Curry claim, saying that Curry is not a traditional point guard. Shaq, however, disagreed with Jamal Crawford too, citing how the game has changed. Nischelle Turner, however, told Shaq that Crawford’s argument made sense.

That was when the Diesel took a jibe at Turner. “Watch this Spice, I’m about to mess her [Nischelle Turner] up. The game has evolved so much, you got these Instagram stars stepping in on your territory,” O’Neal said. “Yes, and that irritates you-know-what out of me,” the Emmy winner replied!

The Lakers veteran continued, “They are not the traditional media personalities. They didn’t go to school and to the ropes like you did. But they are getting just as much fame.”

Fans have for quite some time been debating whether the Warriors star or the Lakers veteran is the greatest point guard. Curry’s recent display gave his fans an edge over Magic’s fans.
