CJ McCollum has had a fantastic start to the season. The Trail Blazers guard has been a pivotal part of their run this season, as Portland has gone 6-4 this season. As of now, the Trail Blazers are on a three-game winning streak, after their latest win over the Toronto Raptors. McCollum, much like his teammate Damian Lillard, has shown an ability to make big shots in his career.

CJ McCollum is a ‘shark’

CJ McCollum spoke to the press after the Trail Blazers’ marginal win over the Raptors. McCollum sent a message to all the rivals who underestimate him and said, “I’m a killer. Figure out ways to eat. That’s what best describes me. Sharks just go hunt. Don’t worry about things. Never worry about how they get the next meal. Don’t worry about anything, that’s how I live my life.”

McCollum has been on fire this season. During games where Damian Lillard has struggled, McCollum has come up with big shots. The game against the Houston Rockets was the prime example of this, where McCollum made a shot to ice the game after James Harden had seemingly given the Rockets the win with his shot earlier.

McCollum has been having a great season in terms of his numbers. He has averaged 28 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. In addition to this, he is scoring 45% from the three-point line, and 47% of his attempted field goals. McCollum is not only scoring high numbers but is also proving to be extremely efficient.
