Since the beginning of the season, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have been criticized for their poor results so far. With a rugged start and troubles with injuries, fans have voiced their desire to have a more stable and in-sync roster. With that said, information on potential trade opportunities that the organization is looking at has surfaced in several recent reports. However, this information has not faired well with the Laker Nation. Recently, a report established that the Lakers are eyeing a point guard from the Charlotte Hornets. This news left Lakers fans on Twitter in shambles.

The report stated that the Lakers are interested in Terry Rozier from the Charlotte Hornets. Despite knowing that he would be tough to get, likely because of his existing four-year contract, the report mentioned, “he has fans with the Lakers.” Rozier is a point guard who dealt with an injury in the early days of the season. Since then, he has played nine games and shot at 38.6% from the field. Following the release of this report, fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment.

While Rozier could bring value to the roster, fans believe that the team doesn’t require another point guard. They were quick to attack the organization for this potential interest. Some fans pointed out that the Rozier trade would be tough, while many stated that there was no way the Lakers could get Rozier.

One fan’s tweet read, “I’m a fan of Zendaya, I ain’t getting her”. Fans even mocked the statement that declared that Rozier had “fans” inside the Lakers team.

Pre-game update from the Lakers

The Lakers play the Detroit Pistons next. Lakers’ coach Darvin Ham announced that a decision on LeBron James‘ availability will be taken closer to the game. He said, “We didn’t have any contact today but he was moving around well. Running and jumping well, so we’ll see.” 

He also mentioned that Dennis Schroder and Thomas Bryant will be listed as probable for the game against the Detroit Pistons.

Schroder and Bryant missed the first month of the season as they were recovering from injuries. If they get time on the floor, it will be the first time that this duo will make an appearance in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey. However, they will mostly be on a minute restriction. The Lakers are coming off a win against the Brooklyn Nets, and fans will be desperate to see their team turn it around on go on a run of wins to try and salvage their poor campaign so far.
