During the Los Angeles Lakers’ 111-116 loss against the Sacramento King last night, former MVP and nine-time All-Star Russell Westbrook performed a cheeky move on the hardwood. Meanwhile, a clip of him performing the move got viral on social media and garnered a lot of fans’ attention. The fans, upon coming across the clip, reflected on Twitter and flooded its comment section with their thoughts and opinions.

The nine-time All-Star was unable to drop big numbers on the court last night and lead his team to victory. However, Russ was successful in stealing the spotlight during the game with a cheeky move.

Russell Westbrook stole the spotlight with his cheekiness

Russ was not as influential as he usually is on the court on Wednesday night. However, he successfully grabbed everyone’s attention with his cheeky play. During his last night’s game, the former MVP tried to put the ball into the basketball when he was being guarded by the Kings’ youngster, Kevin Huerter. However, he instantly changed his mind and hit the ball into Huerter’s chest which further rebounded and got in Westbrook’s hands.

In other words, the nine-time All-Star tried to drain a 3-pointer. But quickly changed his mind as he had to get rid of the Kings youngster. With this move, the 34-year-old became the center of attraction in the hoops world on social media.

Last night, despite LeBron James dropping 32 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists, the Lakers were unsuccessful in securing a win. The purple and gold lost another game since the Denver Nuggets halted their winning streak back on Jan 10. Following last night’s defeat, the Lakers currently sit in the 13th position in the Western Conference Table with a losing record of 20-25.
