The Ben Simmons and Philadelphia situations continues to take unexpected turns. While he has turned up for practice, his participation is still a big question. His feud with the franchise has been a topic of interest for many NBA legends, and Charles Barkley seems to be tired of it.

Being a former player for Philly, Barkley has spoken about Simmons on multiple occasions. Moreover, being an analyst, he has had his fair share of arguments over it as well. Because of this, he is now not even surprised when he comes up on any show.

Charles Barkley tired of Ben Simmons questions

Being an analyst, Barkley is always on top of things. However, this time around, he seems to have grown tired of the same topic. Whichever show he goes onto, Barkley has had to speak about the situation between Ben Simmons and Philadelphia. Being a former 76er, people expect him to have more in depth knowledge of the situation.

Most of the time the host asks him the question about Simmons. However, this time around, Charles Barkley flipped the script. Right after introducing the NBA legend, he spoke about the whole Ben Simmons saga. He said that he would be a billionaire if he had a dollar for the amount of times he has spoken about Simmons.

Charles Barkley said, “Obviously, people know I love Philadelphia and I live in Philadelphia during the summer. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been asked about Ben Simmons for the last three months…. I wouldn’t even be a billionaire. I’d have like $3 billion.”

Barkley has always had a funny character over the years. Let it be his banter with Shaq or his funny moments on NBA on TNT, he never fails to entertain. He always finds a way to pull something off. However, with Simmons, he doesn’t have any idea what to expect.

He said, “It’s been fascinating, because my answer to the question is, I don’t know. You think we’re gonna trade Ben? I don’t know. You think Ben’s gonna show up? I don’t know.”
