Later in the 2021-22 season, they suffered a first-round exit to the Philadelphia 76ers, after their inability to make it to the post-season in the 2020-21 season.?

The Raptors make just one addition before the deadline

A few hours before the deadline, the Raptors traded Khem Birch, a 2024 first-round draft pick, and two future second-round picks for Jakob Poeltl from the San Antonio Spurs. The center is averaging 12.1 points and 9 rebounds so far this season.?
