Day one of the Genesis Open saw Tiger Woods back competing after 7 months. His friend, Justin Thomas, also competed in the event and was out-driven by Woods. The 15-times major champion then passed him a tampon in good spirits which landed him in trouble.

Women support groups across the world have shamed the golfing legend for his antics. The Women’s Global Empowerment Fund based in Denver went all out at Woods and issued a statement condemning his joke.

Charles Barkley isn’t a fan of that. Talking on The Steam Room podcast, the NBA Hall of Famer referred to Woods as the ‘GOAT’ while also shaming people for blowing the entire issue out of proportion.

Barkley said, “Tiger to me is the greatest golfer ever. Shout out to Jack Nicklaus who is right there, nothing but love and respect to Jack Nicklaus but in my opinion, Tiger’s the GOAT. I was deeply disturbed how people overreacted to the tampon joke situation.”
