The Los Angeles Lakers have been trying to get back on track after losing two of their superstars to injuries. With both LeBron James and Anthony Davis out of the lineup, the team has had a tough time getting back their momentum.

However, their latest win against the Sacramento Kings has given fans hope that they can survive without those two at least keep their position in the Western Conference intact, if not make it better. While fans obviously miss watching Bron wreak havoc in every game, the GOAT himself can’t help but miss doing what he does best.

LeBron James can’t get basketball out of his head

Bron has been integral to the Lakers‘ run in the season so far. They started off as one of the top teams in the Conference with a constant tussle with the Utah Jazz, LA Clippers, and the Phoenix Suns for the top spot. Although the Jazz hasn’t given any other team much of an opportunity to take the first spot from them, the Lakers were still one of the top contenders.

However, a variable like injuries is inevitable, and when it first happened to Anthony Davis, the Lakers were still relieved that at least they had Bron to hold the fort. But a game against the Atlanta Hawks changed that in a jiffy. His ankle injury looked brutal and was announced out indefinitely.

While the team can feel his absence, so can his fans. But it seems like there is nobody who is missing the thrill of being of shooting baskets more than the man himself. He recently tweeted on Twitter, “Woke up out of my sleep to use the restroom and thought to myself…. MAN I WANNA HOOP! MISS IT SO MUCH! Ok anyways back to sleep I go.”

What triggered the Lakers’ superstar’s emotions

It is no coincidence that Bron posted this right after a Gonzaga defeated UCLA through Jalen Suggs’ buzzer-beater. The half-court game-winner had Bron and plenty of people going crazy. He also posted a couple of reactions to the game and claimed it to be “One of the best games I’ve seen in a long time!!”

There is no set timeline for LBJ’s return. All that the Lakers want is that he returns completely fit, without hampering his health in the long term. The reigning champions usually have trouble facing the more elite teams without AD and Bron.

Next up, they are set to play against the LA Clippers. This will pose a major challenge for them. Will they be able to rise above them? Or will this add another L to their tally?
