In a star-studded night, Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics took down Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in their most recent matchup. The game ended with the Celtics on top 125-112, as they had the advantage for the entirety of the game. The Celtics arguably had the game in the bag all during the 48 minutes of gameplay. As the Mavericks were just not able to overcome the deficit despite Luka Doncic?s amazing performance in the 40 minutes he played.

Doncic was close to a triple-double in the game. He had 42 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists on the night. Tatum on the other hand had a double-double as he scored 37 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists in the game.?

Hollywood stars Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak were in attendance to witness the two MVP candidates, Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum performing feats of greatness on the court.?

Apart from Doncic, the Mavericks starting lineup seemingly underperformed as compared to the Boston Celtics‘ lineup. All five Celtics starters scored in double-digits as opposed to three of the Dallas Mavericks‘ starters.

Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum are both in contention for this year?s MVP award. Tatum had one of his best starts of the season as he was leading the league in points. Clearly, he seemed like a man on a mission after missing out on the title last season.?

Notably, Doncic and Tatum are both in the top ten leaders in scoring in the league. Tatum is in the eighth position whereas Doncic is leading the league in points. But when you look at their team?s records, Boston has a huge lead as compared to the Mavericks.?

Both players had excellent performances in the game. Tatum managed to get to the line multiple times, converting and-ones. Whereas Doncic constantly found his teammates for an open look during the game.?
