With Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson, the Warriors’ lineup was just as effective, deadly, and downright unstoppable on the court as it was on paper. Everyone expected them to become one of the greatest teams ever in the history of the NBA and they exceeded those expectations. Sadly, it was only for three seasons.

?I thought it was a mistake. Not for the reason that everyone else thinks it’s a mistake by the way. I thought it was a mistake because I know Kevin and what Kevin likes to do and the number one thing in Kevin’s life. That’s not the case for most people including NBA guys by the way. “Basketball is 100 per cent the most important thing in Kevin’s life. It is the thing that he cares about himself more than anything in the world. The expectations are high and they have the caliber to meet those expectations. Dray still does not write of his friend KD, whom he knows really well.

Unfortunately for them, they could not complete the three-peat. As bad luck entailed, the Conference semifinals of that season saw KD?s long-term Achilles injury force him out. Moreover, it was the last game KD would end up playing for the Warriors.
