The Chicago Bulls were a formidable team throughout the 90s, and there was hardly any team capable of outclassing them. From the outside, it might look that the legendary team had a fantastic bond to stick together for all those wins. But everything wasn’t as it might appear, as things looked much different from the inside. All that was revealed after Netflix’s 2020 docuseries on the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls left Bulls defender Scottie Pippen displeased. Additionally, another former teammate of Scottie Pippen recently revealed in an interview how he felt disrespected by Pippen’s attitude towards him.

According to former Bulls star John Salley, Scottie Pippen misled him to believe that he liked him and that they were friends. In a recent interview, Salley revealed all about his shock at some of Pippen’s statements.

During the interview, the interviewer DJVLAD asked for Salley’s opinion on the situation, and the NBA legend obliged. The four-time NBA Champion responded by mentioning how everyone is at liberty for their personal choices. Additionally, Salley explained how Pippen’s feelings toward him were never actually from the heart.

I thought I was friends with Scottie Pippen,” said Salley. He further added, “And then I saw him on ESPN like diss me.” Salley explained how the legendary Bulls defender won’t talk to him for no reason.

The four-time NBA Champion’s face was filled with confusion as he could not make heads or tails of Pippen’s attitude. Salley also implied that he’s not surprised with Pippen’s feud with Michael Jordan after The Last Dance documentary.

The incidents revealed in the documentary left Pippen displeased. Notably, his underpaid contract situation at the Chicago Bulls caused a lot of undercurrents in the organization. Pippen was also dissatisfied with the way the documentary ascribed all the credit of the Bulls’ glory to Jordan.
