NBA legend Dennis Rodman is one of the most flamboyant stars ever. He did not care about the opinions of others. The Chicago Bulls legend was unapologetically himself. Even though it did not sit well with almost every team management, he was a fan favorite because of this. Rodman’s popularity rose because of his high-profile relationships as well. He was in a relationship with pop superstar Madonna and popular actress Carmen Electra.

Because of this, he always had a spotlight on him. The Queen of Pop Madonna even allegedly asked Rodman to marry her and impregnate her. Rodman has had three marriages, first with Annie Bakes in 1992 who he was dating for years, and had a daughter in 1988. However, Bakes filed for a divorce just 82 days after the marriage.

The five-time champion then married Carmen Electra in 1998. But the marriage was short-lived as the actress filed for a divorce in 1999. The power couple did not have any children together. Then in 1999, he started dating Michelle Moyer, and the couple welcomed a boy in 2001 and a girl in 2002. Rodman and Moyer then tied the knot in 2003.

After the marriage in 2003, Michelle Moyer filed for divorce in 2004. Despite attempts to reconcile for several years, the divorce was finalized in 2012. As per reports, Dennis Rodman was ordered to pay $500,000 in child support. The former superstar was unable to pay the child support and his attorney stated he was bankrupt in court. He added Rodman is “broke” and cannot even afford his monthly expenses.

Rodman once admitted he never wanted to be a father, however, he loves having children. “I never wanted to be a father, but I love having kids. I think about them so much,” he said. Rodman continued, “I have a tendency to love something I can’t have, and if I have something, I can’t love it.”

During his Hall of Fame inductance speech, Rodman admitted not being a better father is his only regret.

Rodman’s son with Michelle, Dennis Rodman Jr. follows his father’s footsteps and plays basketball. He is now playing college basketball for Washington State University. Also, his daughter with Michelle, Trinity Rodman is a soccer superstar.

She is the youngest player ever to be drafted in the National Women’s Soccer League history. The forward currently plays for the Washington Spirit. She made her senior national team debut in February 2022 and scored her first senior international goal in April.
