Shaquille O’Neal, Nischelle Turner, and Spice Adams recently joined for a new episode of the Big Podcast with Shaq. During the show, the trio talked about some of the most trending things in sports and the world. In one instance, Turner asked O’Neal about his new nickname, “Dark Nowitzki”. The four-time NBA champion stated that the nickname was not new and then explained how he made Kristen Ledlow call him by the nickname during a segment on NBA on TNT. Then Nischelle asked O’Neal whether he knows Dirk Nowitzki was a fan of his.
Shaq replied that he knows and added the Dallas Mavericks legend once said that to him. However, Turner then shared a video clip of Dirk where he speaks about his fandom of O’Neal. The 2011 NBA champion stated that he was a huge fan of Shaq growing up and was also a fan of his rap songs. He added that he used to rap O’Neal’s verses in the song “What’s up Doc?”. Nowitzki then rapped the song as well even though he did not remember everything. Shaq watched the interview with a huge smile and started to wheeze when Dirk started rapping. O’Neal said, “I never saw that.”?

The three-time NBA Finals MVP then asked Nischelle to send him the video clip of Dirk rapping his song. The Emmy winner then suggested “Dark Nowitzki” and Dirk Nowitzki should collaborate on something.
