Jeremy Lin had a short but memorable NBA career. Lin, who went undrafted in the 2010 NBA draft, did retire from the NBA winning an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors. Many people remember his rise to fame during his short stint with the New York Knicks as ?Linsanity.? But what many people do not know is, Jeremy Lin had been married for quite a few years, keeping his relationship out of the public eye all this while.

Lin recently revealed his marital status on his official Instagram page with a post of him kissing his wife surrounded by trees in a forest. Lin did so to protect his private life and keep his personal life sacred.

Lin last played in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors before returning to China to play for the Beijing Ducks. Lin did try to make another comeback to the league as he played with the G-League team, Santa Cruz Warriors.

However, nothing transpired and Lin went back to play with the Ducks in China finally. Recently, Lin revealed that he had been married for a couple of years with his Instagram post.

He wrote, ?The funny thing about becoming famous overnight is no one teaches you how to deal with it. As grateful as I am for this crazy journey I?ve been on, I always knew that when I got married I’d want to keep my personal life sacred and to myself for as long as I could.?

?After many years of being together, I married my wife in an intimate ceremony and it?s been the highlight of my life ever since,? added Lin.

Lin also revealed that it was hard for people to not know about such a major change in his life. The former 2019 NBA champion got married in an intimate ceremony and describes his marriage as the highlight of his life.

A look back at Linsanity

Jeremy Lin started off his career with the Golden State Warriors. But did not reach the trajectory of his popularity till he joined the New York Knicks. Lin first caught the attention of the Knicks? front office during his performance in the 2012 NBA playoffs.

But what really pushed his name over the top was his 38-point outburst against Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. The team rallied behind Linsanity to a seven-game winning streak and the rise of Jeremy Lin began.

However, Linsanity was rather short-lived as his career and point-per-game average only went down after that. The Taiwanese basketball player only got traded from one team to another during his nine seasons in the league before calling it quits.
