The Brooklyn Nets had managed to win their last two games against the Warriors and the Utah Jazz, without their main star Kevin Durant. Kyrie Irving?has been leading the team from the front and got great support from his teammates to get their win. In today’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Seth Curry along with Irving put up a great performance, although they lost the game by just four points in the end.?

When asked about his son-in-law Seth Curry’s performance against his team, 76ers head coach Doc Rivers had a few words to say, which is going viral on the internet. The veteran coach seems to be happy about their 6th straight win as the Sixers now move to the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

The 6’1″ guard put up a 32-point performance although the Nets couldn’t get their third straight win. Seth Curry is married to Callie Rivers, who is a former American professional volleyball player and the daughter of Doc Rivers. Both athletes tied the knot back in September 2019.?

Doc Rivers, when asked about his son-in-law’s performance, mentioned,?”Yeah I wanted to just smack him. I’m not kidding either. I was going to go over and see my grandkids on Sunday, and now I’m rethinking that now from that performance,”?poking fun at his son-in-law.?

He added,?“He was great. He made every shot. But you know, that is how players are when they come back and play against teams that they played for. No matter if it is a good trade or a bad trade, they wanna kill you. And he did that tonight.“. Joining her dad, Callie Rivers credited her husband on Twitter, mentioning?“32 of them thangs I am not mad !”.

Along with his 32 points, Seth Curry made 4 assists and shot an efficient 70% outside the line and 55% from the inside. Nic Claxton has been of great support to the team. The young center put up 25 points and 11 rebounds.?

The Sixers are having a great season with Joel Embiid and James Harden leading from the front. Embiid is averaging 33.6 points, and 9.8 rebounds and has a great shot at the MVP. Along with Embiid, James Harden is playing a crucial role this season, averaging 21.5 points and 11.2 assists. Keeping in mind the playoff experience of both these stars, the Sixers could have a very good chance of winning it all.?
