This isn’t the first time NBA great Charles Barkley has had an uncomfortable moment on camera. Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal and Barkley are famous for their on-camera beefs. Shaq and Chuck constantly take digs at each other, but never let that affect their close friendship. In a recent episode of ‘NBA on TNT’, the panel served Chuck with a good old Christmas prank, leaving Shaq, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith in splits.

Charles Barkley has gone on to become a popular TNT analyst after his illustrious NBA career. In an article by the New York Post, Barkley has reportedly signed a deal with TNT for 10 years which could easily fetch him well over $100 million. The 59-year-old may even retire from the TV business before his contract ends.
Shaquille O’Neal breaks into laughter after the prank
As part of the Christmas month celebration, the ‘NBA on TNT’ crew invited singer Jacquees to sing on the show, only to prank Chuck mid-way. Jacquees sang a melodious number ‘Let It Snow’. Little did Chuck know that the gentle snowfall was going to turn into a heavy snow dump on him.

Chuck was taken aback by the sudden dump and he sat there unmoved as he giggled at his fellow panelists. While Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith burst into laughter, a disappointed Chuck said, “I hate y’all” twice. Barkley was visibly irritated and left with a red face after the prank.

Chuck’s previous red-face moments
During a podcast episode of ‘The Steam Room’ hosted by Chuck and Ernie Johnson, WNBA star Kelsey Plum was invited as a guest. Chuck asked her if she can give a guarantee to repeat another WNBA championship, Plum’s response left him red-faced. She said, “You know from someone that has never won a championship, I’ll give you some advice, that’s really not what you do.”

Another red-faced moment was not out of a snarky response or pranks, but out of love. During an episode on ‘NBA on TNT’, Barkley opened up about his relationship with Shaq. Shaq couldn’t resist walking up to Chuck and hugging him on camera.
