Golden State Warriors and Klay Thompson have not had a good start to the season. The Warriors have started off 3-5 and Thompson has come under criticism recently from Charles Barkley for his lackluster play. But Klay’s response has bewildered Chuck and NBA fans have seemingly turned on the four-time champion.
Last week, Barkley went in on Thompson and said that he wasn’t the same player anymore. However, this did not go down well with?Thompson as he responded to Chuck. He told that he had two season-ending injuries in consecutive years and he needs time to get back to being the player he was.

Charles Barkley was asked what he thought about Thompson’s comments. He said, “I was disappointed that he took it personally. I said a few years ago that I thought he was the best two-way guard in the NBA. But because of age and injuries, he’s not the same player. I didn’t say he was a bum. I’m saying he’s not the same player.”?

NBA fans seemed to agree with Chuck and they mocked Klay Thompson for his comments. They were surprised to see Thompson take it so personally and asked him to man up.

What Chuck said is the truth and he wasn’t even trying to clown on Klay. Only reason everyone is piling on him is because two of the media darling Golden boys got their feelings hurt. Disappointed in how Shaq and Kenny piled on Chuck in this segment. No sympathy for Zion tho 🤷🏿♂️

The Warriors have had a poor start
It’s not just Klay Thompson who has endured a tough start to the season. His team, the Golden State Warriors, seems to be going through a slump as well. Coming into the season as favorites, the Warriors have been underwhelming, to say the least. After eight games, the Warriors stand at 3-5.

Their main issue seems to be on the defensive side of the court. In fact, the Warriors have one of the worst defenses in the NBA. Teams are scoring at will and the Warriors’ offense has not been able to keep up.
