The Los Angeles Lakers made multiple moves prior to the trade deadline. They retooled their roster by acquiring new players in exchange for trading away a couple of players from the squad. Recently, one such former player of the purple and gold revealed a surprising fact about the LeBron James-led Lakers. This, in turn, elicited the fans’ attention and prompted them to reflect on the affair on social media.
Russell Westbrook, Thomas Bryant, and Patrick Beverley were the notable players who moved to other franchises from the Lakers. Westbrook was sent to the Utah Jazz while Bryant and Beverley were traded to the Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic, respectively. Lately, Beverley, who got blindsided prior to the trade deadline, finally spilled the beans about the Lakers issues.

Patrick Beverley revealed a surprising fact about the Lakers
In one of the latest episodes of ‘The Pat Bev podcast with Rone’, Beverley made a confession about the Lakers’ issues. During the podcast, the 6’1 guard said the team’s issues were not related to basketball. He delved deeper into the aforementioned affair and added, “It wasn?t basketball…It was other s?t. But other s?t that you really can?t like pin or point out. You know, comes and goes. You know, a little bit here, a little bit there.”
The 34-year-old continued, “The vibes were sometimes on, sometimes off. Inconsistent vibes lead to inconsistent play.”
Just a few hours before the trade deadline, Beverley was sent to the Magic in exchange for Mo Bamba. However, days after his trade, the Magic waived him. Currently, he is a free agent, looking for new options.
Fans were in shambles after coming across Beverley’s remarks about LeBron James-led-Lakers
Beverley’s string of words gained a lot of traction on social media. Many fans took the name of King James, indicating that he was the problem in the Lakers squad. The fans seemingly gave mixed reactions.
