The Los Angeles Lakers vs the New Orleans Pelicans was a great game as both teams fought hard for the win. Fans got to witness a thriller on Wednesday night. The Lakers seemed like they almost lost the match until a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Matt Ryan tied the game and took it to overtime. This ultimately resulted in Lonnie Walker IV finishing the game with a key 3-pointer in overtime. After the game, Ryan revealed how he felt after hitting a crucial 3-pointer and the win.

The Lakers got one last play when Dyson Daniels of the Pelicans missed two free throws with 1.4 seconds left in regulation. Austin Reaves made a beautiful cross-court pass to Ryan who made the shot, forcing the game to go overtime. The Lakers then took care of business in the overtime as they beat the Pelicans with a scoreline of 120-117. This is their second straight win after an 0-5 start to the season.

Matt Ryan, the savior of the Lakers, struggled to make it to the NBA. He went undrafted after attending three universities. He worked as a DoorDash delivery driver for a living before his debut for Boston Celtics last season. However, he just played five minutes in one game during the regular season. After joining the Lakers, his minutes have certainly improved.

After the game, when being surrounded by reporters, Ryan disclosed, “I feel like LeBron.”

Over the years, James has hit many buzzer-beating shots to help his team. As Ryan hit his first buzzer-beater after making the league, it is no surprise he felt “like LeBron.” He scored in double digits for the first time in his NBA career.

LeBron James had a decent outing against the Pelicans as well as he led his team to victory. He finished the game with 20 points, 8 assists, and 10 rebounds.

Lonnie Walker IV finished the game with the most points for a player on both teams. He had ?28 points, 1 assist, and 3 rebounds. On the other hand, Zion Williamson of the Pelicans also produced a great performance with 27 points despite the loss.
