A fact known to most is Michael Jordan loves Golf. Since his Chicago days, MJ has taken a keen interest in the sport often competing in charity matches. In 2019, the GOAT opened a golf course in Florida, Groove XXIII. This $20,000,000 golf paradise has Tee’s making it a safe haven for him and his Hall of Fame buddies.
Being one of the most an avid perfectionist and a ruthless competitor Jordan takes everything personally. Fellow NBA Hall of Famer Jerry West knew better than most when he refused to answer a question surrounding Jordan’s golfing. Speaking about the Carolina native West revealed, “I have seen Michael at least once a year and he didn’t change.”

Now a board member of the Los Angeles Clippers, Jerry and George, discussed many aspects and entities of the sport covering in length various topics surrounding the NBA.West brought an immense wealth of knowledge and experience to the podcast. Revealing a lot of his own views and thoughts on the game of basketball, the 14-time all-star kept it real.
While discussing Michael Jordan and the Bulls, Jerry was questioned if he ever played golf, to which he replied, “I used to.” Paul, who himself has just started to play the game, hoped to get an insight about West’s battles with Jordan when co-host Dallas Rutherford decided to put the Lakers legend on a spot.
When asked who between the two would win in a game of golf, Mr. Clutch jokingly replied, “I don’t think I should answer that,” clearly not wanting Jordan to take anything personally.

Although he refused to reveal his battles with Jordan, West did speak on the Bulls legend’s golfing abilities. Commenting on Michael Jordan, he said, “Michael got a lot better, very competitive and he loves to play he will play 36 every day.”
Furthermore, he revealed that his Airness would contact him every time he had a game in Los Angeles stating, “He’d play 36 before a game scoring 40, 50? He never got tired.”
