“I Don’t Need to Protect Them”: Resurfaced Larsa Pippen Footage Shows Scottie Pippen’s Ex-Wife Reacting to Kim Kardashian Throwing Her Under the Bus

The Kardashians just love to be at the forefront of everyone’s attention. Fans and reporters also tend to meticulously document and scrutinise their every move and interaction. However, as the spotlight continues to shine on them, it is really common that even the closest of friendships can falter. One such friendship was that of Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen, wife of basketball legend Scottie Pippen. 

They both hit it off when they first met at reality TV show, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami in 2010. However, in the dawn of 2020, cracks began to appear in their seemingly unbreakable friendship. Fans were keen to notice that the entire Kardashian-Jenner family had unfollowed Pippen on Instagram. Cut to 2023, this fallout has taken a new turn.

Recently resurfaced footage from a Hollywood Unlocked interview with Larsa Pippen has shed new light on her fraught relationship with the Kardashian family. In the clip, which first aired in February of 2021, Pippen readily admits to feeling “betrayed” by the famous clan, responding with “Hell yeah” when asked if she had been betrayed by them. Larsa Pippen expressed her disappointment with the Kardashians for staying silent when she received public backlash for her dating history with Tristan Thompson. 

Pippen later revealed that fans took to her DMs and she received a great deal of backlash from fans. She admitted that the Kardashians “threw her under the bus.” However, the plot thickens with the recent resurfacing of the Hollywood Unlocked interview. But perhaps the most intriguing element of the video is Pippen’s assertion that she “knew too much” about Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kanye West.

Did Larsa know too much?

Larsa talked about how her knowledge of the deep intricacies of Kim and Kanye’s relationship may have led to the fall out. She emphasized the fact that it was a contributing factor to the dissolution of their friendship. Pippen divulged, “I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship. I knew too much, I was a problem, and so, whatever. That’s kind of what happened.” With this being said, Larsa just brushed off any sort of “Tristan Thompson dating” angle from the feud.

However, despite the acrimony that has clearly existed between them, Pippen and Kim have apparently buried the hatchet. In January of 2022, Pippen declared that she and the Kim founder had apologized to each other, and that they were now in a “really good place.”
