The Sacramento Kings are the only professional team in the major North American sports leagues based in Sacramento. A member of the Western Conference Pacific Division, the Kings play its home games at the Golden 1 Center. The Kings’ roster includes NBA stars like Tristan Thompson, De’Aaron Fox, Richaun Holmes, and others.
The Kings have begun their new 2020-21 NBA season in dismal form. They have currently won only six of their fifteen games played so far. A loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves has worsened their concerning form. And now the media has raised concerns about players falling out with the coaching staff.
Tristan Thompson, a key player for the Kings, ranted in the post game conference about not requiring a coach to inspire himself and his teammates. Tristan said, “I don’t need no f*ckin coach to inspire me…The day I need a coach to inspire me is the day I’m f*ckin retiring. I’m going to go play with my kids in a park. I speak for my teammates with that quote.”
