The Los Angeles Lakers legend, Shaquille O’Neal, has amassed a vast fortune, estimated at around $600 million. He has done so through his extensive NBA career and smart business investments. However, Shaq has clarified that his inheritance would not pass down to his children easily. Recently, O’Neal disclosed how his kids would have to earn their control over his assets.

Shaq had a chat with the ‘People’ where he disclosed the fact that he wanted his children to prove themselves. He mentioned how he wanted his children to make a ‘resume’ and a ‘business plan’ to show that they would run his businesses responsibly.
The 4-time champion added that he doesn’t have any problem with nepotism if his children are worthy. The Diesel said regarding nepotism, “I don’t give a s— what you are, because if it’s done the right way, I believe in nepotism.” Thereafter, Shaq added how he would help them in building their future if they come with the appropriate mindset. However, the idea sounded ironic. Earlier, Shaq admitted that he felt embarrassed for himself due to his inability to write a resume for his kids. O’Neal hopes that when he finds himself “checking into the old folks home,” his children are capable of ‘running what he started.’
