Earlier this year, Shaunie Henderson and Pastor Keion Henderson held their dream wedding on the beautiful island of Anguilla. During the private ceremony, the couples’ families and friends were also present, including Shaunie’s five children. The bride looked absolutely stunning in her wedding outfit. In an episode of his podcast, ex-husband Shaquille O’Neal congratulated the new couple and wished them the best in their new journey together.
However, things didn’t end as well as might be anticipated between Shaq and Shaunie. In a recent interview, the Los Angeles Lakers legend assumed responsibility for his divorce from ex-wife Shaunie.

May was the month of the wedding, and the event was indeed beautiful. From the wedding dress to the vows, the couple had documented everything for their fans. Just recently, VH1 premiered ‘Shaunie & Keion’s Destination I Do.’
Shaunie shared in an episode that she even invited her former NBA legend husband to attend the wedding. However, she also revealed that she didn’t really want Shaq to attend the event. It was more of a formality. “I asked him did he want to come to the wedding, I didn’t really mean it,” she admitted.
As the new episode of their wedding is released, we are left with a number of revelations. Shaunie’s wedding invite revelation had her friends burst out in laughter.
However, as it turns out, Shaq politely declined the offer. The Big Aristotle didn’t want to steal the thunder in Shaunie’s big day.

While trying to find a wedding gown, Shaunie also mentioned how she felt when Shaq took responsibility for their separation. In fact, she felt a relief after years of public speculation held her responsible for the separation.

Shaunie was married to Shaq for nine years. Subsequently, some differences rose between them that led to their separation. Shareef, Amirah, Shaqir, and Me’arah are the couple’s four beautiful children. Though Shaq and Shaunie never came forward to share the whole story of their failed marriage, recently Shaq explained what went wrong and took all the blame.

“I was bad,” he admitted in ‘The Pivot Podcast,‘ explaining, “She was awesome. It was all me.” Furthermore, he stated that he “wasn’t protecting [Shaunie] and protecting those vows.”
