He said, “I delete things all the time, and it’s no disrespect to anyone within the community.” Irving added that he was living his life.?Further, Irving added that he continues to stand by his apology. He said, “I stand by who I am and why I apologized.” The NBA Champion revealed that he apologized because he cared most about his family, many of who belong to the Jewish community.

The Mavs star added that when the issue spread, instead of handling it maturely, he reacted. He concluded and said, ?I stand by my apology and I stand by my people, everywhere – all walks of life.??

NBA Fans rushed to the comments sections and stood up for Irving. They wrote that it was time that the media left him alone. Fans also urged the reporters to ask him questions related to basketball instead of focusing on his life off the court and the past. Fans stated that people should let Irving move on and failed to believe how a question of such was asked to the eight-time All-Star.
