It was one of the most historic deals that not only gave a boost to Jordan’s career but also skyrocketed Nike’s claim as a high-end brand. To this date, Michael Jordan annually earns millions from his contract with Nike. Similarly, former Detroit Pistons player, Dennis Rodman has had several deals with Nike, Reebok, and Converse. The Rebound King even had his own signature shoes from Nike and Converse when he joined the Chicago Bulls. Nike created the Nike Air Worm Ndestrukt in 1996 which became Rodman’s first signature shoe. After playing a season with the Bulls, Rodman then switched to Converse, and they created Converse AS Rodman in 1997.

After wearing several ridiculously expensive branded shoes, seems like Rodman wanted to try out Kanye West’s Yeezy sneakers. An old video posted by Kanye West himself showed Rodman making an amusing request to the rapper. Furthermore, in an episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping, Rodman relayed a funny incident that took place when the rapper sent him a couple of Yeezy sneakers back in 2020.

In 2020, Rodman reportedly sent a video to West, which the rapper posted on his social media handle. The Worm complimented West for his sneaker business and wished him on his birthday. Additionally, Rodman also asked West to send some shoes over to him. Kanye’s Yeezy business is estimated to have a net worth of about $1 billion to $2 billion.
