Giannis Antetokounmpo has established his name as of the NBA’s most prominent stars over the years. The Milwaukee Bucks player has trademarked his aggressive and physical play style and it has helped him dominate the basketball court, warding off opponents. Recently, Giannis found himself involved in a controversy when he used vulgarity during a game.

NBA fans on ‘r/nba’ a community dedicated to NBA news and discussion noticed what Giannis said to a rival player. Giannis and the Bucks played against the Boston Celtics when Giannis used vulgar language against a Celtics player. He mouthed the obscenity to Marcus Smart, who attempted at defending the Bucks star.

Giannis breezed past the Celtics’ hurried defense and entered the paint to attempt a layup when Marcus Smart attempted a charge on him. He sustained the contact as he completed his layup and fell due to the contact. After landing, Giannis told one of his teammates purportedly referring to Smart, “I can’t f*cking stand that p*ssy.”

The 27-years old Greek joined the NBA in 2013 when he started his career with the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks drafted him in the 2013 NBA Draft as the 15th overall pick. Making his debut in the NBA in October 2013, Giannis was one of the youngest players in NBA history to achieve this feat.

Giannis led the Bucks to their NBA title win in 2021. Alongside the NBA title win the NBA named Giannis the 2021 Finals MVP. Giannis has won two NBA MVP awards in 2019 and 2020.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks defeat the Celtics

Giannis Antetokounmpo powered the Milwaukee Bucks past the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. An impressive home win for the Bucks at the Fiserv Forum improved their record to 22-13. Giannis returned to NBA action after spending time under the NBA’s health and safety protocols, which he entered on December 12.

He put a massive tally of 36 points to lead the Bucks. He also recorded 12 rebounds and 5 assists in 30 minutes. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics scoring 25 points but failed to guide the Celtics to victory as the game ended 113-117 to the Bucks. Giannis and the Bucks face the Orlando Magic next.
