Denver Nuggets selected Donovan Mitchell as the 13th overall pick of the 2017 NBA draft and later traded him to the Utah Jazz. He played for the Jazz for five seasons until the Cavaliers traded him for Collin Sexton before this season.

In fact, the Cavs star is only behind the legend Wilt Chamberlain for most points created by a single player in a game.

Chamberlain created 104 points in his record 100 points game. The total points include the points generated through assists. After the game, Micthell said, “To be there in the record book with guys like Wilt is truly humbling.” Meanwhile, the 6’1 guard also broke the record for the first NBA player to score 70+ points with 10 assists.

The Cavaliers clinch the game in style

Donovan Mitchell headed the Cavaliers with 71 points supported by Jarett Allen with 21 points. The Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan’s 44 points went in vain for the 6x NBA Champion team. Spida’s 71 points is the highest individual score in the league after Kobe Bryant‘s historic 81 points in 2006.
