After no NBA team took him in, Dwight Howard made headlines for taking his talents to Taiwan The three-time Defensive Player of The Year is arguably one of the greatest shot blockers in league history. In his last NBA action, Howard would be a part of the Los Angeles Lakers. Playing alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the big man wasn’t able to assert himself anywhere near his true potential. After his shift to Taiwan became a stage for his capabilities, the former Orlando Magic center sat down for an interview. It was then that the eight-time All-Star spoke about the unfortunate circumstances during his last season by comparing his accolades to Dennis Rodman.
Dwight Howard and the Lakers have quite a history. Notably, the former DPOY has been to the City of Angels three times. Proving the emotions behind his words, the three-time DPOY exploded for 38 points in his debut. Moreover, his monster double-double included 25 rebounds, a skill he believes the purple and gold didn’t utilize with the lack of floor time.
