March Madness has delivered yet another classic heading to the Final Four. The game between San Diego State Aztecs and Creighton Bluejays had the fans on the edge of their seats. However, the final few seconds took a turn to benefit one of the team, helping them enter the Final Four. Former NBA superstar Charles Barkley, who has been analyzing the NCAA tournament off late, did not like how the game ended with the referees’ influence.

However, the former Phoenix Suns star weighing in on the situation did not receive the fans’ support as they continue to bash him for the “Horse Sh*t argument” with co-host Kenny Smith on Twitter.

The game between San Diego and Creighton went down to the wire. Tied at 56 with 6.7 seconds left, San Diego had the possession for a game-winning play. However, guard Darrion Trammell could not finish the floater as he was fouled with no time remaining. The young guard went on to hit one of the free throws to give his team the Elite Eight win.

Creighton players and fans were understandably devastated. Charles Barkley, who is a big fan of March Madness himself, also joined them. The 1993 MVP shared his disappointment with the referee’s call. Barkley mentioned in the show, “I don’t like the call because it decided the game. That was too good of a game to be decided that way. We can go back and forth on what’s a foul. They missed them in the first half. Situational, to me, matters.”

However, Barkley seems to stand alone with this take. Co-host and former NBA guard Kenny Smith did not seem to agree with the Suns legend. Smith had a simple reply showing his support to the refs, “I don’t have a problem with it”. Smith got way more support than Barkley on social media for his opinion on the whole situation.
