In the recent episode of the ‘The Big’ podcast, O’Neal mentioned that he once brought a Rolls Royce for cash, which he regrets in hindsight. The Hall of Famer went on to talk about the irresponsible decisions he made in his youth and regrets not spending money wisely.

In the episode, when asked about the biggest money lessons of his life, Shaquille O’Neal reflected on his youth days and revealed some of his most outlandish purchases.

Spice Adams, one of the podcast hosts, asked him about some of the biggest financial lessons; O’Neal firmly responded, “Not to spend cash on things I want right away.” The Big Diesel then talked about some of the worst decisions he made in his youth. Interestingly, he admitted to spending more than he was worth during his first few years in the league.?

He revealed how he used to purchase only with cash and not use any debt or prudent financing. He admitted to blowing his money on worldly and luxurious things, such as a Rolls Royce. “How much is this Rolls Royce?”?O’Neal confessed that he blew his initial earnings in the league and regrets not investing that money. But the multi-millionaire reaffirmed that he had learned the lesson the hard way, and now he manages his money prudently.?
