Speaking with Dan Patrick on his show, the 2006 Finals MVP detailed how Jordan was denied entry to his party. “I was at my Draft party in Chicago, and I’m in the party and I’m dancing. My cousin comes over and says hey, they won’t let Michael Jordan in, he’s outside.” Wade couldn’t believe what he’d heard. “So I run outside, bust through the doors, and Michael Jordan is sitting on a motorcycle, with 30 or 40 dudes behind him. And it’s like a scene out of a movie.” As Wade went on to admit, ‘His Airness’ was there to congratulate him and show him some love. The youngster allowed him in, but Jordan greeted him and left.
