NBA superstar Stephen Curry is one of the most popular players in the world at the moment. Last season, he helped the Golden State Warriors win their fourth title in eight years and also won the elusive Finals MVP award in the process. Like many NBA superstars, Curry has a good relationship with former President Barack Obama. It is no secret that Obama is a huge basketball fan. The two have met each other many times and even have competed on the golf course. However, Obama once gave a stern message to Curry.

As per reports, the sharpshooter once joked on a podcast that the moon landing might, in fact, be fake news. He?d been shown a conspiracy-theory video during his senior year in his Christian high school. Given Curry’s superstardom, the video went viral.

The ex-POTUS Barack Obama was far from happy about Curry’s statement. And he received an email from Obama. ?And that night,? he remembers, ?I got an email. It was a pretty stern, direct one from President Obama.?

Obama informed him that man did land on the moon and asked him to do something about his statement. So, he hosted a 15-minute discussion with an astronaut on IG Live.

Stephen Curry was not heavily sought after during his high school years. So he was not considering declaring for the NBA draft straight from high school. He chose the college route and it did him wonders. Even in college, Curry was not really a physical phenom. He was not very explosive and not very quick. However, he had one of the best shooting arms in college basketball.
