The 27-year-old has been known to trash-talk multiple players and has also managed to start a beef on multiple occasions. Now, shortly after his low blow on LeBron James in their last matchup, Brooks points the finger at the media and fans for forming his tarnishing image in the league.

Dillon Brooks was ejected from Game 3 of their matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. Brooks managed to hit LeBron James in the groin, which resulted in him getting a flagrant two-foul.

The majority of fans in the NBA community do not think too highly of Brooks and now the Oregon State product has someone else to blame for it. In a recent report by ESPN’s Tim McMahon, Brooks pointed the finger at the media and the fans.

McMahon?s tweet stated, ?The media making me a villain, the fans making me a villain, that just creates another persona on me.? This was allegedly Brooks? statement after a team practice recently. He strongly believed that the perception of him led to the flagrant two-foul on him.

Now, whether one may agree with him or not, Brooks? past record tends to paint him in another light. He recently had some words for LeBron James as well prior to his matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brooks said, ?I don?t care, he?s old,? as he referred to LeBron James? age (38). He even went on to say, ?I don?t respect someone until they give me 40.?
