The Academy Award-winning actor had a worrying complication that led him to seek urgent medical help. Since Foxx’s update, fans have been praying for the 55-year-old actor’s health. Meanwhile, the NBA has gathered to pray for their beloved actor and comedian as well.

Trae Young joins LeBron James in praying for Jamie Foxx

On Wednesday, Corinne Foxx updated Jamie’s fans and well-wishers on the 55-year-old’s health condition. In a short Instagram post, she mentioned what happened, while withholding some information.

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” captioned the post. 

Following the post, LeBron James tweeted out his prayers for the beloved actor, while respecting the wish of privacy from the family. Soon after, the Atlanta Hawks star, Trae Young, who was probably enjoying his team’s confirmed playoff berth, went into a somber mood to tweet out his prayers for Foxx.

“Continue to keep him in y’all’s prayers,” wrote Young, while tweeting out a picture of Jamie Foxx. The Django Unchained star has been a fan favorite for a decade at this point, entertaining audiences with his hilarious wit and captivating acting skills.

Moreover, the love toward Foxx by James and Young goes both ways, as the 55-year-old actor has mentioned his love for the Hawks and the Lakers star on numerous occasions. Just a week ago, Foxx attended the Hawks’ game against the Wizards for the play-in spots while cheering for his good friend, Trae Young. Therefore, it’s no surprise, that the whole NBA fandom has been praying for the Django Unchained star.
