Staring at a series sweep, the Lakers will need a miracle to recover from the 0-3 deficit. After boastfully predicting LA’s chances ahead of the Conference Finals, Magic Johnson issued a public apology following the Game 3 disappointment.

Johnson continues to show his unwavering support for the Lakers by attending games and expressing his enthusiasm through social media posts. However, after Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, the 3x NBA MVP apologized to the Denver Nuggets for doubting their caliber.

Johnson tweeted “I have to apologize to the Denver Nuggets, they proved that they are a better and more talented team in their victory over the Lakers tonight. They put both teams in the Eastern Conference on notice that they are committed to winning a championship!”
