However, fans found it rather difficult to believe the news, and rightfully so.

Their reluctance soon proved to be right after a beat reporter and podcast host Jackson Gatlin termed the news as “nonsense” on Twitter. Gatlin’s claim strengthened several hours later when Green’s teammate Tari Eason responded to the trade news with a tweet that read, “Y?all believe anything”.

The two-time All-Star was one of Udoka’s most vocal supporters after the head coach was suspended by the Celtics due to policy violations. Therefore, it might not come as a surprise if Udoka decides to seek out Brown as one of the Rockets’ potential new players.
