Hollywood star Jamie Foxx has been in everyone’s prayers since his disheartening health news. Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, broke the news about her father’s health a couple of days ago. Even though the news shocked many, the additional message comforted the fans. Celebrities from across industries sent in their regards to the star, including the hoops community. Notably, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James penned a heartfelt note as well. Following James and Trae Young, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade chimed in with a sincere tweet after an encouraging update on the actor’s health.

Fans couldn’t come to terms with the news as they flooded social media praying for the star. Informing the world, Corinne Foxx said, “My father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” via her Instagram. She didn’t provide any information about the condition or symptoms Foxx experienced.

LeBron James’ heartfelt note

As an immediate response to the shocking news, LeBron James took to his Twitter and penned a message. He wrote, “Sending my thoughts and prayers to the heavens… Get well and back to yourself SOONER THAN LATER! God willing.” Following James, Trae Young and thousands of fans flooded Twitter with prayers. “Continue to keep him in y’all’s prayers,” wrote Young, along with a picture of Jamie Foxx.

Foxx has always been a big fan of the NBA. He can often be seen hanging out at arenas, and watching games. One can only hope that he recovers soon and fans can see the 54-year-old actor in action once again.

Wade joins James and others to pray for Jamie Foxx

The Django Unchained actor’s daughter informed the fans regarding her dad’s “Medical complication,” in a statement. There isn’t any clarity on Foxx’s illness, but his daughter said, “The family asks for privacy during this time,” in the statement.

However, a recent report revealed that the actor’s health has steadily improved. After the fortunate health update, the Heat legend Dwyane Wade took to his Twitter and shared a note for the star. The tweet read, “Sending love to the amazing Jamie Foxx,” along with a praying emoji.

Foxx’s sudden health complication also stalled the production of his next film, Back in Action.

The Netflix film cast also includes Cameron Diaz as the female lead. In the absence of Foxx, the film crew continued to shoot with a stand-in after a brief stoppage in production. However, the recent health update suggests that the star could get back on his feet to complete the production in the coming days.
