LeBron James is one savvy operator. While his on-court excellence is well-known, his handling of social media is true, shrewd genius. Whether it be passive-aggressive shots, Homer Mood memes, firing back at rival coaches, or a casual flex, the King is in firm control of his kingdom. While he stays away from petty beefs, Bron like any other all-time great isn’t one to forget easily. So, with the Nuggets, especially coach Mike Malone, constantly taking shots, a reply was inevitable from James.
After his cryptic comments from yesterday, King James was back at it again. This time, his method of operation was a subtle flex.

The Los Angeles Lakers started off the season 2-10. After a thoroughly disappointing 2021, it seemed like more of the same was in store for the team. However, the one saving grace was LeBron’s pursuit of the all-time scoring record.
After LeBron accomplished that historic milestone, amassing over 38,388 points, the entire NBA world was in awe. What once seemed like an unbreakable record joined the list of LeBron’s accomplishments. The Lakers after a miraculous turnaround ended up in the Conference Finals against eventual champions, the Denver Nuggets.
We all know the story by now. The Nuggets went on a rampage, sweeping the Lakers and moving on to win the NBA title. However, in the days that followed, and at the championship parade, the Nuggets continued to take shots at LeBron and the Lakers. Coach Mike Malone even pretended to retire as a mock towards James.
LeBron, ever the social media wizard, fired back at the Nuggets. Now, he’s taken a more subtle approach. In a story, he seems to be showing off his cool new watch with the caption, “Smurf Me.”?But, the real star of the show is his beaded new bracelet.
The bracelet covered in white beads spells out 38388, or the points record that James broke to reach the mountaintop. After his direct clap back at Denver, this subtle approach might do the trick.
LeBron’s fiery shot at the Nuggets
While the Denver Nuggets won the series in convincing fashion, the antics of coach Mike Malone have gotten under LeBron’s skin. His constant mockery of the Lakers, culminating with a shot at James for considering retirement was the final nail in the coffin.
James responded with some incendiary comments with an absolute bar of a line, “Enjoy your light but just know I?m the SUN.”??With both teams figured to once again be near the top of the Western Conference, a rematch might come sooner rather than later. This time, there is a beef to settle.
