Cherie Johnson’s boyfriend holds a grudge against the Lakers legend

This time, it’s the one and only Cherie Johnson, who revealed what it was like when she first ran into Kobe. In fact, he even managed to make Johnson’s former partner really mad. The story is indeed as funny as it sounds.

On her official YouTube channel, Cherie invited her cousin Shar, who is an actress like her. If you are not aware, Shar Jackson is known for her role in the popular sitcom, ‘Moesha’. During that time, she got to work with Kobe, who had a guest appearance in the show. While talking about what it was like acting next to Bryant, Cherie Johnson brought up her first meeting with the Lakers superstar.

She revealed that it was at Shar’s birthday party that they first met. Johnson said, “Do you know that my ex Robert still hates him [Kobe]? Because of that night? First of all, Kobe didn’t do anything wrong. He was sweet, he was excited. Kobe grabbed me and gave me a hug, and picked me up. The insecurities of the ex were bitter. ‘He took you out of my hands’. No! He didn’t. He’s just tall bruh.”

It was season 2, episode 5 of the show called ‘The Whistle Blower’. The plot was about an athlete in Crenshaw’s basketball team: Bryant played this role in the episode. He asks Moesha to help him with his SATs.
